Beggar's Bowl Dice Tray
Beggars can’t be choosers.
Made of solid White Ash that was sustainably harvested in North America, these dice trays are a minimalist labor of love.
I have made several iterations, and this one just feels right. Delicate curves and lines flow to help randomize the dice’s path as its rolled. While the curves also dramatically reduce the possibility of cocked dice.
The top ring comfortably holds 40 dice, and is wide enough to accommodate slightly oversized dice commonly found in the handmade dice market.
Beggar’s Bowls are unfinished raw wood. They will naturally develop wear over time. White Ash is an incredibly hard wood, but dice can possibly dent the surface when being rolled. Each dice tray is hand sanded buttery smooth.
PLEASE NOTE that this is a natural product that will have variation in grain patterns. Every single Beggar’s Bowl Dice Tray is completely unique. Being unfinished means it could be stained by liquids. This also gives the owner the ability to DIY stain their dice tray if they so choose. Other wood species and finishes will be available soon!
